Protesters Paint the Police

Police shields as art: An unintentional abstract mural.
Today's student protesters left behind some unintentional abstract art, much of it on riot police shields.
These shields made a convenient canvas, and so did the bank window behind.

The cops, including this lady, appeared amused by the experience.

Smile, men.

Who planted a flower on my shield?

Leave those flowers and perhaps peace will grow.
Who stuck this flower on my shield?

Look at us!

Donate your shields to a museum, guys.
The clean-up.

Wow. I hope they make a display of those shields.

I'm sure that by now they're washed and ready for the next painting.
