Bogotá Street View: Snapshots of the City

An angry mirror salesman on Plaza San Victorino. He didn't appreciate being photographed. But, when you set up your mirrors in public space, that's the risk you take.
In honor of this weekend's Fotomaratón, I took these pictures today of less-than-glamorous daily life in Bogotá.

Another mirror man on the plaza wears his wares, perhaps to avoid getting hassled by police.

Mirros for sale.

A street vendor wheels her cart of chips and sweets passed an automobile collision.

The afternoon drizzle has these two would-be entertainers taking cover on La Plaza del Chorro in La Candelaria.

An ice cream vendor uses his cart as a child carriage.

A heavily loaded homeless man carries his scavengings to sell.

In Santa Fe, the red light district, a woman who appears to have woken up after noon carries home a meal.

Nearby, also in the red light district, cars and motorcycles make a perpetual traffic jam as men cruise thru.

An ancient truck near the Paloquemao market.

A family visits a grave in the Central Cemetery.
